Help Japan Earthquake Victims

UPDATE: We have now sent the remainder of the money collected to the disaster relief here is Japan. I am proud to say that we collected a total of $2681.20 for the victims of the earthquake and tsunami. Thank you to all of you who donated. Your kindness is so very greatly appreciated.

As most of you have heard, there was a devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan (and possible nuclear reactor meltdown). There are millions of people without electricity and thousands of people without food and water. Due to the number of people asking me what they could do to help, we have set up a way to make donations to those people in need since it is difficult to donate to Japan because of the language barrier.

I have set up a separate paypal account from our main HardrockPokemon account to keep everything separate. Anyone willing to donate any money to buy food and water for the victims of this terrible tragedy, please send your donations by Paypal to sendaiearthquake2011@gmail.com.

If possible, please make sure that you send the money as a “gift” so there are no paypal fees.

Anyone who does not have Paypal and still wishes to donate, please contact me and I will figure out another way for you to donate.

Absolutely 100% of all money will be immediately sent to the Fukuoka city donation fund for victims of the earthquake. No donation is ever too small. $1,$5, any amount can help buy food and water. You may donate in any currency that you wish (dollars,yen,pound sterling, Canadian dollars,Australian dollars,etc). Currency will be converted into yen and paid every few days to the donation fund.

To show our appreciation for your help in with this tragedy, anyone who donates (no matter how large or how small) will receive a coupon for 10% off EVERYTHING in our HardrockPokemon.com store. The coupon will be valid until October 1^st, 2011 and can be used as many times as you like until October 1st, 2011 (We extended it from July 1st due to the overwhelming support).

For anyone who is willing to donate, we will email you to your same email address as your payment within 12 hours with your coupon code (Usually within an hour, but there is a time difference in Japan, so if you donate at night time in Japan, it will be the following day). If you do not receive and email from us, please contact us. Or if you have a different email other than the email from your paypal account, please let us know so we can give you your coupon code. We will try to respond as quickly as possible, but please understand that our volume of emails is sometimes overwhelming.
